Ashlee Johnson

My name is Ashlee! I originally grew up in Los Angeles as a competitive dancer and gymnast. I began my journey in dance at the age of 4 where I continued throughout college. I began teaching as a teenager, and continued to teach as I pursued my degree in Early Childhood Education. During college I coached a gymnastics team which made it to the National Level and placed 3rd overall. I recently relocated to the Bay Area and I am so happy to be back doing what I love . Some of my favorite styles to teach are Hip Hop, Acro and Jazz. When I am not teaching, I love going on hikes or to the beach with my dog. I am so excited to meet you all.

As a Dance Teacher, I feel that it is important for my students to feel comfortable, motivated, confident, and inspired at all times. I want to see my students succeed, be proud of themselves and enjoy all of the hard work and dedication they put into dance!

Palak Shah

Hi there, my name is Palak!  I grew up in New Jersey, went to college in Boston, and later
relocated to the Bay Area where I lived in San Francisco for many years. My family and I now
reside in the Sacramento area.
Dance, in all its forms, has always been a huge passion of mine. I began my journey in the world
of dance at the age of 7 with Ballet and Tap.  I was also encouraged around this time to learn
more about my Indian heritage and took up various styles of Indian dancing, starting at age 8 and
continuing on through high school.  I was an active performer in many different dance groups
over the years. I participated in numerous dance competitions that took place throughout the
country spanning from my home state of New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and many
other locations.
While attending college in Boston I was enrolled in dance classes and learned Swing, the Waltz,
Foxtrot and Tango which were some of my favorite classes!
I also work as a Preschool Teacher part-time.  I take great pride in being a facilitator of your
child's learning process by creating a nurturing, fun and supportive environment within the realm
of dancing and beyond!
